I'm loving reading your blogg, thanks.
The reminder of 'lies' was very welcome. My mum has been a compulsive liar all of her life, and although I now know each lie serves a positive intent, it took me years to drop my indignant self righteous anger and pain about this and how damaging it has been for us, and see how low a view of herself my mum has carried and how all of her lies were merely a desperate attempt to be loved and accepted. Having seen that how could I not forgive her. she's made herself so ill with it and her resultant behaviour that she developed premature senile dementia and is now in a care home at the age on 61. Now that I feel I can finally have a ''real' relationship with her, it apperars on one level too late, so i just have to talk to her highest self, giving her the purest love and acceptance I can and re-assuring her, and letting her see that all the years of darkness have given birth to the brightest light in me yet, something I know that all mothers must want for their children.
